My friends from SOBCon introduced us to each other, so we partnered to launch his re-designed site this year. Using Genesis’ Focus theme, the layout matched his needs perfectly, but we also solved two major issues from his old design:

• The posts were the only thing present in WordPress before – all of the pages were individual PHP pages in folders on the host.
• The videos and slider in the header were not iOS compatible, so iPads and iPhones were not displaying things correctly.

I corrected both by re-creating all of his pages in a clean install of WP and using jQuery for the slider. For the videos, I recommended Vimeo Pro for iOS compatibility.

I wanted to create a marketable, versatile logo for this East Coast beach community church, so I went with a surfboard and window decal motif. The colors scream modern and reach out to the younger generation. This was developed in Adobe Illustrator for any application they need it for.

Another heavily-modified Thesis install with a custom home page. I re-created the entire site from PowerPoint slides as the design model and created a minimalist site with a custom rotating slideshow and Cufón fonts throughout.

My second design firm client submitted a full-site design that their client had approved and needed me to re-create it. Using Thesis, this site has custom widgets on every page, several custom menus, multiple Gravity Forms, and outstanding SEO for the insurance provider of Domino’s Pizza.
